Volkswagen T25 / T3 Danbury Renegade Camper Model History
Circa 1988 Dawson Danbury introduced the T25 / T3 Volkswagen Danbury Renegade. It was available with either a tintop, a pop top roof or a high top fixed roof option. It was advertised as having six seats. The layout consisted of two rear facing buddy seats behind the driver and passenger seat. The buddy seat behind the passenger seat contained a 2 burner stove and grill. The buddy seat behind the drivers seat contained a sink with pumped water supply. A double bed is formed using benching between the buddy seats and the rear seat.
Note that during the production period of this model various changes were made to the specification including changes to upholstery materials, electrical control panels, furniture design etc. Where possible I will try and show examples of any updates and the approximate date of any change in the descriptions below.
